Mom brought us four plus ornaments that Grammy made for us years ago, the characters from the Wizard of Oz. We put them on the tree this weekend, and the kids just love them, telling stories, talking about why they went to see the wizard.
I'm here checking my email, and Gabrielle sneaks to the tree on the floor, and starts talking.
"Don't be afraid, Tin Man. He's just pretend. Just walk with me."
"Now hold on with me. I'll hold you with my hand."
Dooo dooo dooo (singing)
"What's the matter?" she asked. (Dorothy, I think) "He's not roaring." (The Cowardly Lion, that is)
"Oh hello, hello."
