After breakfast today, I sent Gabrielle into the bathroom to brush her teeth and hair. After what seemed a bit too long, I checked in to see how it was going.
I came upon Gabrielle holding her baby doll wrapped up in a hand towel, and a sad look on her face.
"Baby was cold, so I just wrapped her up."
Then I noticed the wetness all over the floor around the toilet. "Oh no," I said. "Gabrielle, did you try to go to the bathroom standing up?" (Which believe it or not, has been a topic of discussion, what with two males in the house.)
No, it appears that baby doll wanted to try going on the potty. "She tried, Mommy, but she fell in."
I have yet to determine if anyone used the toilet before baby - that was unclear - and I hesitate to unwrap the towel to check her out!
