Happy Easter!

We have had a wonderful day today. Aside from the very, very early wake-up call (Thomas), we had a fun morning.

Chris came down late last night, so we were all happy to see she'd arrived safely when we woke up this morning. Easter baskets were a big hit ... so were the sugary marshmallow Peeps.

We went to church (that was an interesting - and loud -  experience...) and then out to brunch.
We came home to hunt for Easter eggs in the backyard and both T & G got into the excitement, and would point and squeal when spotting another egg.

Thomas was a bit nervous about venturing off the pavement and onto the dirt to retrieve eggs that were hidden near the bushes. Not into gardening?

They (and we) were thoroughly exhausted about that time, so they hit the sheets, Patrick hit the couch, Chris hit the dining room table to catch up on some work, and I'm vegging out in the family room.

Happy Easter to you all!
