At the pet store today:

Me: Shall we go over and look at the fish?

Thomas & Gabrielle: Yes! Yay! Hurray! 

Me: Hmmm...how many fish do you see in that tank?

Thomas: One, two, three ... twenty-two!

Gabrielle: One, two, three, four, nine!

Answer: about three hundred guppies

Me: What do you think the fish eat?

Thomas: Hot dogs! Hot dogs!

Gabrielle: Rocks, mamma, rocks. Fishies eat rocks.
