Back Home

I got back from my trip to Africa on Saturday night, and am just now starting to feel normal again ... that jet lag is bad!!

We spent seven days in Southern Sudan, near Akot, working with the students and teachers at Hope & Resurrection Secondary School ... check out the link to read more about this amazing school and the people behind it. The students and teachers at this school are dealing with remarkable challenges, and maintain strong hopes for their futures and that of Southern Sudan.

We also spent time in the local village, at the Episcopal Church, in the "big town" of Rumbeck, and enjoyed a brief stopover for game drives in Kenya.

I hope to post some more pictures soon ... for now, enjoy the photos of the Form 1 and Form 2 (basically 9th and 10th grade) students from Hope & Resurrection Secondary School.
