Emerald Isle

We just spent a wonderful weekend in Emerald Isle, North Carolina at the Trinity Center. I've been to Wilmington,  the Outer Banks and some of the other North Carolina beaches, but I found Emerald Isle to be really magical. 

It seems a bit less developed than many of the other beaches, and has all of the great marshlands to explore. The retreat center is a great spot with beautiful beaches and some wonderful wildlife. I suspect next time we go, we'll try to stay a bit longer.
